Thais Siewert is a board certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with a Doctoral Degree in Nursing Practice. She has worked with a variety of patients in the outpatient and inpatient settings. Her devotion to patient care leads her to be an ambitious researcher, longing to provide the best up to date treatment to her patients. She has worked extensively in her research titled “Depression Screenings Increase Depression Treatment in Type 2 Diabetes” with the goal to increase the number of patients with depression being treated so they are able to participate in healthy lifestyle habits. As we live in a society that is highly multicultural and multilingual, she speaks Portuguese, Korean and Spanish and has different cultures within her background. She is strongly committed to providing proficient culturally individualized care. Her professional career is driven by making an impact on her patients’ lives, through the medium of healing and helping them achieve their greatest potential.
