Marifel has twenty-five years of experience working in the mental health field, as director of in-patient, out-patient and community programs. She specializes in Cognitive and Dialectical Behavior Therapy. Her background includes work in nonprofit management, grant writing (specifically raising funds for affordable housing developments) as well as housing case management programs for unhoused individuals, families and farmworkers. She received her MA from Pepperdine University. Her passion is making baked goods and mentoring individuals towards the goal of living their best lives.
