The Life Adjustment Team is pleased to announce its recent affiliation with PacifiCare Health Systems. With approximately $11 billion in annual revenues, PacifiCare is one of the nation’s largest consumer health organizations, serving more than 3 million health plan members in eight states and Guam. 

 Leaders in the health insurance industry recognize the value of outpatient rehabilitation services as an effective solution to providing quality mental health care at a reasonable cost.  Intensive outpatient programs reduce the number of inpatient days and at times can be used to prevent the need for hospitalization.

 PacifiCare began negotiations with the Life Adjustment Team at the end of 2002.  The qualifying process takes several months and requires facilities to meet high clinical and procedural standards and to undergo an on-sight visit by a PacifiCare contracting associate. 

The Life Adjustment Team currently provides services as an out-of-network provider on a case-by-case basis with several other major insurance carriers.
