Population served: I work with adults and adolescents who have experienced traumas and losses in their life. I utilize therapy as an opportunity for change, helping individuals understand the effects of past experiences and moving them to healing, so that life can be enjoyed again.
Comments:

I work primarily with adults seen individually or as a couple. Individuals may seek therapy to address intimacy/relationship issues, depression, low self-esteem, or frustration about life. Additionally, I have extensive experience working with adolescent girls. Parents may seek treatment for their children when they are concern about their child's social, emotional, academic, and identity development. My area of expertise include treating teenagers who engage in self-abusive behavior (cutting). My approach is a strength base model that enhances client's ability to examine options and develop skills to make healthy choices.
