Abundant Life and Adolescent Growth's programs are licensed by the State of California and JCAHO accredited. They provide a supervised 24 hour in patient residential treatment program, a partial hospitalization program, and an intensive out-patient program ("IOP") for adolescents ages 12-17 who have found themselves in crisis. The behavioral manifestations demonstrated can include, but are not limited to, drug abuse, eating problems, self-abusive behavior (cutting), academic problems, major depression, and violent behaviors.
The purpose of their programs is to therapeutically challenge inappropriate cognitive and behavioral responses. They teach troubled teens socially fitting problem solving skills through participation in daily psychotherapy. |

I work with adults and adolescents who have experienced traumas and losses in their life. I utilize therapy as an opportunity for change, helping individuals understand the effects of past experiences and moving them to healing, so that life can be enjoyed again. |
| Comments: |
I work primarily with adults seen individually or as a couple. Individuals may seek therapy to address intimacy/relationship issues, depression, low self-esteem, or frustration about life. Additionally, I have extensive experience working with adolescent girls. Parents may seek treatment for their children when they are concern about their child's social, emotional, academic, and identity development. My area of expertise include treating teenagers who engage in self-abusive behavior (cutting). My approach is a strength base model that enhances client's ability to examine options and develop skills to make healthy choices.

The Arroyos Psychological Associates, Inc. specializes in treating men and women with a multitude of psychiatric disorders, including generalized anxiety, major depression, bipolar spectrum disorders, schizophrenia, and chemical dependency. Given the co-occurrence of the previous disorders with histories of childhood sexual abuse, trauma, and stress, they also specialize in treating the symptoms associated with these events. Inpatient, outpatient and residential treatment services are available for all psychiatric disorders and chemical dependency via Las Encinas Hospital. All of the psychologists on their staff are skilled in treating these conditions in a caring and comprehensive manner. Services include individual psychotherapy, psychological assessment, forensic evaluation and assessment, as well as coordination with psychiatrists when psychotropic medications are necessary. |

Willow Springs Center is a 76-bed locked psychiatric residential facility serving children and adolescents, male and female, ages five through 17. Founded in 1988, Willow Springs Center helps individuals and families overcome psychiatric difficulties and return to healthier lives. We are JCAHO accredited and belong to the American Association of Children’s Residential Treatment Centers. We feature an on-site licensed private school as well as an addictions program and the Challenge by Choice ropes course. We believe that the power for an individual to change lies in the therapeutic relationship. The core values of the therapeutic relationship include compassion, nurturing, unconditional acceptance and support in a positive, non-punitive environment. We believe that through the adoption of these core values the individual will be empowered to attain his or her maximum growth and potential. |
