Community based continuum of treatment:: A balance of therapeutic/psychiatric intervention, vocational development, and skills training within the context of a supportive community. Initially, a client’s day is structured around a variety of therapeutic groups and activities. As time goes on, days include internships and/or competitive work placements in the community which replace activities at the Inn. A case manager, psycho- therapist, support worker, vocational coordinator and psychiatrist each meet with program participants to work on specific treatment goals. As clients make progress, they take on greater levels of independence and the intensity of service is reduced.

Willow Springs Center is a 76-bed locked psychiatric residential facility serving children and adolescents, male and female, ages five through 17. Founded in 1988, Willow Springs Center helps individuals and families overcome psychiatric difficulties and return to healthier lives. We are JCAHO accredited and belong to the American Association of Children’s Residential Treatment Centers. We feature an on-site licensed private school as well as an addictions program and the Challenge by Choice ropes course. We believe that the power for an individual to change lies in the therapeutic relationship. The core values of the therapeutic relationship include compassion, nurturing, unconditional acceptance and support in a positive, non-punitive environment.
