The Life Adjustment Team was established in 1977 to provide intensive psychiatric outreach rehabilitation services to assist patients to function successfully in the community. Our professional rehabilitation team implements evidence-based psychosocial rehabilitation programs on a one-to-one basis, in the home, at our centers, and during goal-oriented outings in the community. For the past 33 years, this approach has proven to be instrumental in significantly reducing or eliminating the need for repeated hospitalizations and has helped many patients achieve a satisfying level of successful independent living.

All LAT clinicians have achieved either a Doctorate or Masters degree in psychology or a related field, and/or are licensed MFTs or LCSWs, and all come to the Team with several years experience working with people with mental illness.

Willow Springs Center is a 76-bed locked psychiatric residential facility serving children and adolescents, male and female, ages five through 17. Founded in 1988, Willow Springs Center helps individuals and families overcome psychiatric difficulties and return to healthier lives. We are JCAHO accredited and belong to the American Association of Children’s Residential Treatment Centers. We feature an on-site licensed private school as well as an addictions program and the Challenge by Choice ropes course. We believe that the power for an individual to change lies in the therapeutic relationship. The core values of the therapeutic relationship include compassion, nurturing, unconditional acceptance and support in a positive, non-punitive environment. We believe that through the adoption of these core values the individual will be empowered to attain his or her maximum growth and potential.
